Our teams are divided by age and ability.

AGE: This is determined by the age of the child on August 31st, 2009.

For the upcoming season, 18 years old athletes age will be determined by the May 31st, 2009 deadline

Tiny (3-5 years)

Mini (6-8 years)

Youth (11 and under)

Junior (14 and under)

Senior Open (18 years and under)

Senior (12-18 years)

International Open (14 years and older)

ABILITY: We look for the following in each level.

Cheer level 1- Beginner, no tumble skill.

Cheer level 2- Round off back handspring. Standing handspring.

Cheer level 3- Round off handspring tuck. Standing 2 back handsprings

Cheer level 4- Round off handspring layout. Standing tuck.

Cheer level 5- Round off handspring full. Toe touch back tuck.

Dance levels- Dance athletes are first placed by age but may be moved to a different team if age restrictions and skill allows.

There are also other things taken into consideration when choosing athletes for a team, such as, team needs (back spot, flyer, etc), jumps, motion technique and performance.
